About the Role
Unarmed security officers needed for a variety of client sites including office buildings, healthcare facilities, retail properties, and residential communities. Responsibilities include access management, visitor screening, patrol, and incident reporting. Valid California BSIS Guard Card required. Experience in a professional security role preferred.

Our unarmed on-site security officers are deployed across a wide range of client environments — corporate office buildings, retail centers, healthcare facilities, apartment communities, and construction sites. This role demands professionalism, consistency, and sharp situational awareness. You'll work from post orders written for your specific site, under the supervision of our field management team, and with direct access to supervisors throughout every shift. Your uniform, your conduct, and your presence represent the standard our clients pay for and depend on.
Responsibilities
Staff Your Assigned Post Body: Remain stationed at your assigned location in full uniform throughout your shift. Maintain alertness, professional conduct, and a visible deterrent presence at all times.
Manage Access & Visitors Body: Control entry and exit points, screen visitors, verify credentials, and enforce the site's access protocols. Every person entering a restricted area should be authorized — your job is to make sure they are.
Patrol Interior & Exterior Areas Body: Conduct scheduled patrols of designated areas, checking doors, windows, gates, and vulnerable points. Log all patrol activity using our mobile reporting platform in real time.
De-escalate & Manage Incidents Body: Use professional verbal de-escalation techniques to manage disturbances or difficult situations on site. Follow documented escalation protocols and contact emergency services when required. Document all incidents accurately.
Complete Shift Reports Body: Submit detailed shift logs and incident reports at the end of every shift using our mobile platform. Thorough documentation is a core part of the job.
Represent the Client's Environment Body: Whether you're stationed at a hospital, an office building, or a retail center, your presence should fit the environment — professional, approachable when needed, and authoritative when it counts.
Requirements
Required: ✅ Valid California BSIS Security Guard Card (active, not expired) ✅ Valid California Driver's License ✅ Clean background check — no disqualifying criminal history ✅ Reliable transportation to and from assigned sites ✅ Professional appearance — ability to maintain uniform standards ✅ Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills ✅ Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
Preferred (not required): ⭐ 1+ years of security officer experience ⭐ Experience in healthcare, retail, or residential security ⭐ CPR/First Aid certification ⭐ Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong advantage in LA/OC markets
Availability: All shifts available — days, evenings, overnight, and weekends. Full-time and part-time positions open.
